About Us

Liverpool Football Club International Academy DC Metro is a soccer academy based in Potomac, Maryland whose players compete locally, across the state, and mid-atlantic region. The club also offers developmental programs for children ages 3-8. This location was added to the LFCIA Maryland family in May, 2020 to bring 'The Liverpool Way' to the DC Metro area and share our world famous player development model with aspiring young soccer players.

LFCIA DC Metro aims to ensure we are producing great generations of soccer players for years to come in 'The Liverpool Way'. By creating an elite player pathway, our goal is for our players to develop technically, tactically, physically, mentally and socially using a system that has developed some of the world's best players.

The club offers:

• Qualified, licensed, and experienced coaching staff
• Strength and Conditioning programs and training for all ages
• Psychology workshops
• College prep camps, workshops and support staff for our HS aged players
• A player-centered approach with individual development meetings for each player with their coach and family.
• A community of players and families with a passion for soccer
• Local player development with regionally and nationally competitive league and tournament play.

As an International Academy for the prestigious English Premier League club, our players:

• Train under the proprietary curriculum of The Academy in England, inspired by the 'Boot Room' and implemented through our extensive online curriculum, its extensive storehouse of training material, and regular communication between our coaching staff and the International Academy coaches in England
• Have the privilege of wearing the official Liverpool Football Club kits.
• Become members of the “World’s Greatest Football Family”
• Opportunity to attend the LFC summer camp here in Maryland staffed by coaches from the International Academy in England
• Learn to play under establish philosophy of Ambition, Commitment, Dignity, and Unity known as “The Liverpool Way”.
