Liverpool FC International Academy Western Maryland is delighted to announce the launch of its official Reds Former Players Association.
The creation of Reds FPA has been driven by the club’s desire to ensure former players always feel part of the LFCIA family – providing opportunities, support and keeping them informed of new developments at the club.
LFC Director of Coaching, Alan Lydiate, said: “Our goal is to keep as many players in the game as long as possible and to recognize those that make it to their senior year at the club. Our goal then is to support them in their transition into the adult game at what ever level they choose Grassroots, College or even Pro which is vital for the development and growth of the game in the US. Another goal is to encourage them to return to the club as coaches or administrators and to give back to their community and the club they so love.
“Our former players are a fundamental part of our history and will forever be a part of the LFCIA family. I’m delighted to officially recognize this special group of people and I look forward to seeing Reds FPA grow and flourish.”
