Liverpool FCIA-MD after-school soccer program is a fantastic program that aids young children's development. This 6  week program is designed to improve physical, mental, and social health while instilling love and excitement for the beautiful game of soccer in a safe, fun, inclusive, and supportive environment!

Each practice session consist's of a series of 4-5 mini-game-based activities to develop technical soccer skills. A games based method not only keeps the players engaged but also promotes decision-making and problem-solving, which are crucial aspects of skill development. Here are some benefits of this approach:

1. Engagement: Mini games are inherently more fun and engaging than traditional drills, which can help maintain the players' interest and motivation.

2. Decision-Making: Mini games force players to make decisions in real-time situations, mirroring the challenges they will face in actual matches. This improves their soccer IQ.

When designing these mini games, we always consider the age and skill level of the players and gradually increase the complexity of the activities as players progress. Additionally, coaches provide constructive feedback and encourage players to think for themselves, fostering a sense of autonomy and ownership over their development. This approach can help players become more well-rounded and confident in their soccer abilities.

Program Details:

Just Play is a fun and relaxed soccer environment where players of all skill levels can participate. Games are played on smaller fields with fewer players to get everyone more involved. There's no coaching involved, and we group players by age and ability. It's a great way to enjoy soccer without any pressure!

Cost: $25 ($10 for registered after-school soccer players)

Equipment: Players will need shin guards, a water bottle, & running shoes, or soccer cleats.     

Play Angels Needed!

Play Angels: Parents are needed to help manage the game and ensure good sportsmanship. Each field needs 2 Play Angels per game. To register, fill out a registration form:
